CURRENT OPENING
Beginner & Intermediate Dance Instructor
Part-Time | Spring 2027 | Rainbow City, AL
We’re looking for an energetic and encouraging instructor to teach beginner and intermediate dancers while creating a positive, structured, and fun classroom environment.
What We're Looking For

Strong dance background and understanding of proper technique

Confidence teaching beginner and intermediate dancers

Experience working with children
-
Dependable and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule

Positive role model who reflects WDC’s values
Previous teaching experience is preferred, but we are open to applicants with a strong dance background and teaching potential.
Responsibilities

Plan and teach weekly classes

Provide age-appropriate technique and corrections
-
Create recital and performance choreography

Maintain a positive and organized classroom

Attend required rehearsals, performances, and staff meetings
Schedule
Part-time, primarily afternoons and evenings. Exact schedule will depend on studio needs and applicant availability.
Compensation
Competitive hourly pay based on experience and training.
